Yes. Virtually every wood floor can be cleaned with this
breakthrough system. Whether your home has engineered, pre-finished
or site-finished flooring, we can clean it!
Before we begin cleaning we will first evaluate your floor to see if
it is eligible for cleaning without being damaged. It is very rare
that a floor is not eligible. Usually the only floors that cannot be
cleaned are the ones that were improperly installed.
Will my floor be wet and possibly damaged?
No. The cleaning solution has a special
formulation that offers a quick drying time, often within a few
minutes.
Why is this better than just water and vinegar?
Vinegar can damage the finish on a floor. Often many people use
vinegar because they want to know they are using a non-toxic
cleaning product. However, it is not an excellent degreaser. Our
products are non-toxic, excellent degreasers, and are not harmful to
your floor. They get the oils, dirt, grime and remove previous
chemical buildup from other harmful cleaners. Our cleaning machine
helps to pull out all of the pollutants from the crevices in your
floor like nothing else can, without leaving streaks!
The Tycote® Recoating system can last several years, depending on the
type of use of the home. If you clean the floor as soon as it begins
to dull you can avoid having to ever re-sand the floor. This finish
is applied to basketball gym floors, so you can believe it is
durable.
With other refinishing systems the odor can smell for
several days and actually continue to off gas for up to 90-days!
